Investment Info:Large multi-family (5+ units) buy & hold investment.

I currently live in Barcelona but am interested in investing in the West Texas and DFW areas, particularly in student housing, single family, and/or multi-family properties.

I own 5 properties two of them being multi family properties so 7 doors. 

I was at a CCIM luncheon recently and some of my lender buddies and I were discussing that many of their banks are getting out of multi-family because of rising costs to manage the properties...including taxes and insurance.

I suspect many of these investor where not in deals in those years and never really saw or experienced the utter wipe outs that were happening to billion dollar companies.

If you lose, you have those expenses and a multi-million dollar judgment to pay off.

Before that I was a Framing contractor and worked for a multi-family marketing company.

Banks often have higher fees and less favorable rates, while online services like Wise offer more competitive options.As @Ryan Konen mentioned, other alternatives include Revolut for multi-currency transfers and OFX for large transfers without limits.

I’m forming an LLC to purchase these investments and plan to use commercial or portfolio lending.I’d like to avoid properties with HOAs, large multi-family units, or extensive renovation needs, and I’m primarily interested in properties with good appreciation potential.
