Florence has many good areas, but avoid anything West of Pine street and be careful with anything along Veterans Drive and Huntsville Road.

I am doing a build/new construction now for a second home in Pine Island and I checked with a few of the banks and that has been the feedback I have received. 

Purchase price: $49,000 Cash invested: $89,000 Sale price: $270,000 Home in Pine Hills in need of renovation.

It is considered a less nice area of town close to Pine St near Bay Street train station. 

My focus right now is in the areas to the north and west of Orlando (Pine Hills, Ocoee, Winter Garden, Clermont, etc).

I'll always be invested in RE for what it's given us and it's just a part of me ever since my parents built their house and I was able to walk in the framing and smell the fresh cut pine and cold concrete.Some people commented about syndicates.

It really does no good lamenting the way forums change and evolve because no amount of pining for days gone by is going to change the trajectory of anything.
