Renting out your duplex to a long term renter makes sense, but for the unit you plan to live in, are you OK with people on your couch, in your bed, in your bathroom, etc?

He said Pioneer Park has been taken over by the homeless, there was an actual old couch sitting in the park.

It helped that I was couch surfing and occasionally sleeping over at my job so expenses were very low.

Luckily as we were sitting on the couch one night I was able to bring it up, and it went ok!

I wanted to show someone the $97 manual that got me started, but I can't find it....I think it was lost in the divorce.As were the dogs...the couch...the TV...the self esteem....

The problem is those companies would have to "come down" (renting rooms, couches, airbeds, tents, etc.) while Airbnb is only scaling up.  

Other than a couch and lamp in the living room and a table in the kitchen (no chairs) and lots of laundry it just seems that they're only living there part time if at all.

The vents for this house were in the floor; the tenants had heavy couches and chairs which they managed to place directly over the vents, blocking them.
