I've used their shellac based product on some old plywood paneling in a garage on a rehab we did that must have been previously stained with some type of oily substance like linseed oil.

That guy potentially put David's life in harm's way, so my sentiments go out to him.

There's no harm in saying, "Hey I'm going to Amazon some of the specific things I want put into the home, let's set up a system for package retrieval, quality control, and installation."

Like being able to give jump starts, take flat tires to be fixed, resuscitate an overdosed person, deal with an intruder when you walk into a property, handle a gang of people that mean to do you harm. 

It's usually applied when you're doing direct harm to another group or party.

There's really no harm in doing so.
