As Eric said, a short sale is really looked as a favor to the seller and with the seller moving in a direction the lender would deem litigious, any goodwill will be gone.Frankly, the "produce the note" approach is best utilized as a last ditch effort when the seller has exhausted all other remedies.

Ollie, the point is, if your going to represent yourself and claim to be a millionaire then cut your hair, shave your face, quit wearing worn out t-shirts from goodwill and most importantly remember that mullets went out of style when Billy Ray Cyrus and his achy breaky heart quit playing on the radio.
