Jeff B, I think most of the blame for the real estate crash belongs squarely on the heads of the people who bought what they couldn't afford, and are now whining about it, or walking away.But at this point, the banks are doing such ill-thought-out things that they are holding the market down.Lots of deserved blame, too, to Congress (both parties) for giving the banks billions without specifying what the money was to be used for.
