As a stock trader I have learned NOT to chase a stock.

I'm happy that you have found the motivation to not give up and keep moving ahead.Your situation reminds me of a story of two traders who went to a trader's market together.

Although I have read some of the people on Fast Money and they seem legit-but they're traders and their MO is to go with the flow and change their positions as needed.

We are not heavy traders; we (generally) buy and hold shares and plan to support ourselves partially from the dividend income they provide.Why do you use $200 net per month as the "walk" limit?  

I'm also betting on my ability to manage my investment better than some faceless trader on Wall Street.
