Charlotte's market is definitely unique and with the influx of people coming here, whether retiring, or for corporate relocation, or just for a change of weather and scenery the sales market isn't as bad here as it is in other parts of the country.

This will keep your commissions comming while you are in doors waiting for the weather to change.

And that frankly is kinda hard to do these days in a RE market with slower appreciation (which I believe it will be for the next 10 years at least).If you had asked me 5 years ago weather it was better to buy as many properties as fast as possible (to capitalize on appreciation of all your properties) or to pay off each one as fast as possible (to capitalize on paying less interest overall).

I don't know, but I don't think we have an especially strong job growth forecast.
