I can think of far more dubious "speculations" than that, that people do all the time, without anyone critiquing them for it.The dial turned to hyper mega turbo boost, where celebrities buy for $50m and then sell 8 years later for $40m, is too far, insufficient liquidity at those price points seems to create unpredictable volatility.

I think you also bring up a good point though, life factors such as a change in work, unpredictable life events, etc., can cause people to sell.

Pro-se tenants --- on the other hand --- are very unpredictable and the courts/judges tend to be very forgiving about them missing deadlines, etc.

Minus the mortgage for the one guy, cause hes forking out 7k, or in other words, 8000 / 6, which is roughly 1335/ month.Divide your values by 160, for standard work hours, and you get 15.63 and 8.35 respectively.In other words, less per hour than your drywall hanger or painter are making.And thats all assuming you have ABSOLUTELY NO unpredicted costs.

., but the trend line is in the direction of unpredictable and instable patterns that, at worst, cause a significant problem, and at best, increase flood risk and insurance costs.It's probably a "nothing is ever as good or as bad as people say it is" situation as it is hard to interpret who has an agenda to push and who does not...I wouldn't go so far as to say don't invest in parts of FL or TX on account of it, but it's certainly a thought to keep in mind if you plan on owning property in those areas for another 20+ years.
