If you are considering selling I would suggest getting a cost market analysis from a realtor to see what you can sell the home for is this market in comparison to the cost of the repairs etc.

The lower cost areas tend to be that way for a reason - many have stagnant or negative population and job growth over the past few decades, so people are gradually moving away and average wages are relatively stagnant.I'd encourage you to narrow it down to specific markets in both states for more detailed comparison.

In comparison, the cost for the paint and carpet and everything else was probably under $5,000.I have also heard that some turnkeys do not provide an independent inspection report or allow the property to be inspected.
