If you buy in an area around Lake Winnipesaukee or Winnisquam you may find the ability to rent to STR folks that want the lake, to skiers-Gunstock ski area is in proximity to Lake Winni, and there are some ski mobile trails a bit north of Lake Winni closer to Squam lake.

Folks vote for no more STRs, they are gone and you are out of luck.If there is a large block of condo's owned by a single entity, like a wealthy family or corporate entity, you are also in the same boat.

I will never lend again... its advisairial on its face.. we as HML take ALL the risk or 80 to 90% of it... borrowers who think 70% LTV is enough coverage for a HML have no clue.. plus they are thankless most of the time.. it becomes the bad lenders fault.. so to heck with those folks..

We are seeing more and more horror stories pop up from folks losing their investments after pooring them into trash syndicate deals, or buying in C/D grade areas out of state because a YT video or message board post gave them FOMO.
