My interest in Real Estate stems from my family owning a duplex near the University of Cincinnati, where my sisters and I all attend.Over the years, my parents have allowed me to take over paying the bills, maintenance, and leasing of the house.The more I learn about real estate, and see its benefits in action, the more I am sure that I want to make my business around it.I have educating myself on different investment strategies/outlets and plan to start making investments here soon.As I have only a few K saved up, Tax Liens are sticking out to me as good, inexpensive investments if I do my research.I appreciate all the more experienced members sharing all of their knowledge and I look forward to reading.If you have any advice for me it would be greatly appreciated!

I look at inaction as laziness and ineptitude, southerners look at it as "there's no rush and we'll get there eventually".

Whether they are active or inactive most companies I write with do not want inground tanks.  

My suggestion, although I am betting this is already in action, is use of the billboard in conjunction with other actions.

Be very sure you are only engaging in activity that is legally allowed by an unlicensed person.There are a ton of different real estate classes out there trying to take your hard earned money in exchange for their "education". 

Know lots of smart people that sit around and do nothing, because, well they're too smart for that kind of stuff.Making a step and showing initiative will always trump inaction, no matter how smart your are.

To further muddy the waters, I have a current RE license, but am inactive. 

Maybe you want to stay in active land lording a bit but also want to move into passive.
