This guy took a percent off the top so I took it. 1% oos was a silly thing to do anyway considering the price points...I ran into a few hiccups with a particular rental certification program that had I know the rules, might have steered clear of a particular property.

Sounds similar to where you're at.Fast forward to today and I've exited all but 2 syndications, don't have the W-2 job, have quite a few investing alongside me, and have a handful of projects under construction. 

I think there will be a hiccup in Worcester with the next downturn, but it will continue to grow and get better.

Years ago I hired most everything out and worked along side the guys I was paying.

The only hiccup I see is if the mortgagor decides to make extra principal payments.

Those hiccups will quickly derail a project and its costs.
