And I feel Pawtucket always benefits from being closest to Boston and having a good mix of rental units and regular owner occupied properties (it varies by neighborhood of course).As far as "inside information", I'm not sure there's a lot of that to go around, especially these days where every week brings new economic developments and we're still seeing how things are going to shake out, how long this will last and what the effects will be (short and long term).

You can also visit the Housing Authority website closest to the property location and you will find landlord requirements and responsibilities, AMI Limits, Rent Limits, and Utility Allowance requirements which are very helpful when qualifying section 8 applicants.

@Austin Shute if you intend it to be storage for the whole building, you'll need to figure out how to connect it to the common areas / hallway so all tenants can access it.But usually what folks do in this situation is combine the top floor with the closest unit and make it a bigger unit (a "townhouse" unit), rather than using a top floor for storage for the whole building.You might have to remove a door or two to connect the two units so the building inspector doesn't think you're going to keep renting the top floor as an illegal 5th unit, but as long as that's done I think you might be able to keep the bathroom up there.

What I wasn’t clear on is whether or not the home inspection is used as a tool to aid in making the initial offer or if it the inspection is a tool to give you more knowledge about the house after you make the initial offer.
