Or, at least the company's offering them in other states think Texas law would not look kindly on the product so as you point out they do not offer in Texas.

I think many novices miss, don't know or forget that "the market" and it's market makers/movers/etc. have a kind of tri-lingual way of speaking. - There is what they say, the actual words being stated. - There is what those words really mean, or there true intent, which all too often is the exact opposite, such as saying the economy remains strong and a-ok with no recession risk being seen, because there is risk seen for it, but to say such would be to make it happen, and to say there is-not, may induce stabilizing actions that thwart the happening of such..... - And there is what they DO....

Also, the areas that have raw land for that kind of project, are not close enough to the metro city center, hence I am afraid of the demand to buy.

I say 'If you get in that car and drive off I'll call the police' They'll try all kinds of BS but I hold the line and say I can't control what you do, but I'm telling you what I AM going to do.

What area are you looking into and what kind of investment are you looking for? 

We've been to 38 of the big 63 National Parks; both Hot Springs and Broken Bow, which kind of cater to that same crowd, ever seemed appealing enough to visit.It doesn't mean that they are bad places to invest, but the anecdote needs to corroborate the data for me to want to cut a check and stress out for several months hoping it will work.

Well because foreclosures, tax liens, job losses, all these people in these kinds of circumstances, do not want to sell their house, they want to keep their house.
