Home Equity Sharing
I have been unable to get any information regarding this subject so looking to see if anyone knows: does Texas allow home equity sharing loans (also called equity investment loans)? And, if so, does anyone happen to know any lenders, brokers or investors who do so?

Yes, Texas does allow home equity sharing loans, also known as equity investment loans. These agreements enable homeowners to access their equity without taking on additional debt. Companies such as Splitero, Hometap, and Unison offer these types of equity sharing options. In these arrangements, homeowners can receive a lump sum payment in exchange for a share of their home’s future appreciation. This can be a viable option for those who might not qualify for traditional financing methods. However, it's crucial to review the terms carefully, as they can be complex and include various fees. If you're considering this route, comparing different providers and understanding their specific requirements is advisable. For more details, you can check out resources on Splitero and other home equity sharing companies.
