I've spent the last 3 years nagging the city to sell me a lot next to my property so I can install a driveway and they've finally agreed.

I have a feeling Florida will catch up soon after these last storms. 

Last year one of our lenders would not lend to new customers or customers who have never did a commercial loan with them.  

The problem many of us run into is being in New England, many of the markets are high cost, high appreciation markets that we either can't get pre qualified for, or even after moving out will struggle to cash flow.Another big constraint is that many of us have W-2 jobs in engineering that require some days in the office, and these types of higher paying jobs are primarily in major cities (most of us are in the Boston area).Lastly, a lot of us have significant others that may be less interested in living somewhere "random" because it makes sense as an investment.

So far, I was thinking of having them send me their whole credit karma, send me their last paystubs, and send a landlord to verify renter's history.

Our net worth is 4mil so our CPA asked us to move them in LLCs last year.

The home you saw listed with the $339 HOA are the townhouses that were built last year.

Mainly because they advertise saying they have been investing over the last 15 years and been wildly successful.
