Thanks to @Will Fraser's advice, we had it minimally but modernly decorated, had professional photos taken and I took a leap of faith and decided to market it above average.

I just decorate my places like Hugh Hefner's Mansion. 

Complete renovations inside with some decorative upgrades should attract good quality tenants for the long term.What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

My STRs are decorated like Hugh Hefner's Mansion, but that is for another thread.

Are these decorative beams that you are referring to or more structural?

And finally things like upgrading the windows, doing very detailed decoration work, having a very lush, high-maintenance yard, etc., is not only going to most likely do nothing for your value overall, it's going to use up a lot of money in your budget unnecessarily.

Fyi, i found some that looks like old grey wood at floor, decor and more for $1.34 sq ft on close out, bought all they had approximately 2000 sq ft., which works out for the 3 unit i just bought with approximately 600 sq ft per unit.

I'd like to let someone in LA use the decorations since we may end up having a more permanent place again here someday and I'd love to have the option of getting it back.
