It’s funny how people ask strangers to fund hundreds of thousands (sometimes millions) of dollars but they’re afraid of asking their friends for 10 grand.

Now if your going to live in the property you've already reduced your liability, unlike a rental property where strangers are living in your dwelling. 

Way better than asking a bunch of strangers on the internet.

Also, I now have a family (a wife and two young kids) and I don't think there is enough money in the world that would convince my wife to want to share walls and/or actual rooms with random strangers that want to rent rooms or sides of a multi family space.

Stranger things have happened. 

Although I could move out and turn my 3 doors into 6 doors, zoning restrictions require getting permits after you hit a certain number of strangers renting out the same house.So, I think I will keep the same setup I currently have today.

The other units are tenants on annual leases.I am concerned whether this may be a negative to the other tenants due to more traffic from strangers every few days, may be more noise at night?
