It could be profitable as rental once maintenance and caped reserves are adequate to remove and rents are increased.My first inclination is to pay off all my debt and hold the rest as a maintenance/ remodel/ Capex reserve, and wait to use my hopeful Airbnb profits for future purchases.

I have no time, nor the inclination of debating shady RE transactions.I can see how any "information" in regard to the hazards of "creative" RE transactions, would not be warmly received in this venue.Be careful in the area of foreclosure property transactions, and or institutionally owned transactions!

Dick - I'll leave it to the pros to answer that one.UPDATE: Upon closer inspection, there are several important additional problems here. 1 - There is a step on part of the slab that is far taller than code allows. 2 - The main steps to my path are not perpendicular to the slab on the sides.3 - The grooves that were put into the patio for cracking aren't even close to being perpendicular to the structure of the house.4 - The staircase coming down from the house and the other step, as well as the landing in front of my door are on an incline.

Clean the mold around the tub, re-surface the tub if it needs it, caulk the tub, get rid of the hand-held sprayer that will spray all over the place.EDIT:I might be inclined to leave the floor and vanity alone too ...
