I am self-employed, so I was hoping to get a No Income Verification style loan (at least that's what it was called last time), where they look at your bank statements to make sure you have enough coming in to cover the mortgage, taxes, insurance, etc..Basic stat's are as follows:-Income roughly $5,300/mth in deposits (minimum)-No car loans-Current townhouse has been paid off for a few years-Have a couple commercial properties (one in my personal name ($300k ARV) - just purchased in June 2018, the other one ($300k ARV) owned in a corporate name for 3 years).

I have had good results but I should point out I don't have apartment style condos, I have one townhouse and one townhouse style condo (both are in 4plex style individual buildings), which may not be quite as restrictive as attached condos.

I have a house that I was going to have the walls redone a few years back before a new tenant came in - the walls were heavy textured in kind of a Spanish stucco style, which is not common where I am nor really desirable.

With short-term rentals, you are responsible for those things but also things like pool care, lawn care, pest control, electrical, cable, furniture maintenance, dishes/towels/utensils/etc, cleanings, (you see where i'm going with this), essentially you are operating a hotel.
