I just wanted to open a dialogue with my wife about the option of going in this direction if the profit was right since I am going to see it tomorrow.

@Brookshire Harris This post is a good dialogue and was very informative as I was also looking at REI Rail.

However, they talk about all these tactics and approaches (Being empathetic to the seller's needs, finding out the seller's true motivation to sell, presenting 2 offers) as if there is a direct dialogue occurring between the buyer and seller.

I also listened to a BP podcast the other day and one of the dialogues that stood out to me was to find all the reasons to NOT do a deal. 

A list of choices will appear towards the bottom of the dialogue box, sometimes taking a few seconds to process.

Hopefully it will at least open up some dialogue.

Open up the dialogue and then offer to take it off her hands for $500-550k so she walks away with a little cash.  

I then reply back and create some REAL dialogue.  .....Dead Silence!!  

@Zack EllardI'm not sure how to go about establishing a mentor...I think it just happens through constant dialogue and involvement.  

I'm still fairly new at BP but there is good dialogue that occurs on here...it's well worth the time to be on the site.AlohaJeff
