It implies that the ground underneath dropped because it wasn't compacted when the slab was built, but I doubt that's the case.

little bit more. on my rentals I buy the same faucets and keep one as spare, I then call the companies and order replacement cartridges for all units and keep them as spare, so if I ever have a problem, I have the parts in stock to repair or replace the unit.
