It's amazing how disconnected everything in between is and that's what I believe to be unsustainable as long as Detroit continues to grow (I believe it will).So that's where I've been focusing my investing.

@James CarlsonNo worries at all, vacations are for enjoying time away for the day to day and disconnecting a bit, glad to hear you're able to do that on your trip! 

Using the snake through the roof stack would still put us at the same clog.I don't know if it would be possible to open up the access panel and try to disconnect the drains that way and get something in the pipe to try to grind out the corrosion. 

Depending on how bad is the foundation state (how many inches you have to correct), is very possible the sewer line will disconnect/break in the horizontal portions.

Our experience has been incredible and I know there's still a big disconnect between market sentiment and what reality is on the ground there.We're still buying in Detroit, currently finishing a full gut rehab on a duplex across the street where we own another one.

., and as sure as night follows day that means equally BIG taxation to follow, because the $$$ tree is the working class, not sure why 50%+ of population has a disconnect on this fact. 

We require the tenants to have the water and sewer bill in their name so if it doesn't get paid, it is the city who is disconnecting them not the property owner.
