The increased use of quitclaim deeds for bona fide real estate transactions is making title work more complex, and in turn, more expensive.

It also was not decorated up to the standards of our market, another reason it was under-booked.Again, it really depends on the circumstances. but new STR owners need to really do their research and be fully informed when thinking through the management strategy, especially for larger and more complex homes.

There are definitely ways to approach this with smart home tech while minimizing complexity for yourself and guests.

There is far more complex aspects to acquiring MFH than EM. 

My ultimate goal is to buy and hold multi-family apartment complexes.

But obviously there are some similarities between what you're talking about here in doing your due diligence with an apartment complex and doing your due diligence on a SFH as well.
