I'm reposting and expanding this discussion because somehow I posted to the wrong area, and I'm hoping to get some advice.We in the process of settling this estate where we have inherited 1/6 of a commercial building, and have the opportunity to purchase another 2/6 from our siblings, and I was hoping for some additional help with my next step.

Whenever I want a reminder of negative attitudes toward money, I just go visit family.I come from a large family...5 siblings.

I am wondering if any of you have experience selling to your sibling or family members.  

When she passes away (say five years from now), how would my siblings (brother and sister) get a share of the proceeds of the sale of her home (which have now been bundled into the home jointly purchased)? 

I know in Texas it is basically, spouse, kids, parents, then siblings.

It's owned by 3 siblings, free and clear.

FYI  I'm a single and my parents passed & he is the only sibling.

When I am working with a seller and I find out there are multiple siblings involved I know that there needs to be an all cash offer involved.
