It is quite complex and heavily manual and opinionative (a lot of decision comes from intuition).

Remove the desire to be right.Be able to question your opinions and verify them using actual data, not ego, or the desire to be right.

I'm hoping this leads to me avoiding a lot of those early mistakes, but we'll see how well that actually holds up.The main thing I am excited about with Bigger Pockets is hearing opinions and thoughts from a wide array of people.

And in my opinion, his book covers everything a newbie needs to understand: from asset selection, to evaluating sponsors, to capital structures.
