I know folks often use a CoC % to analyze returns on rental properties, but I realize that the same methodology is likely not appropriate for notes/fixed income.

If HUD foreclosures is the niche you want to develop your business model with, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Larry Goins methodology.

The methodology in this business is very different than in others – it takes some thinking through.

@Patrick McGowen Investing in the Stock Market is similar to Real Estate in that there are many successful strategies, Bill Oneil and his methodology (IBD/CANSLIM) is among the best for those willing to take a more active approach.

If it's the latter, I'd agree that it's too long and too dense, but for any other group it seems like a report that could provide real value.A few things that I would personally like to see:A better explanation of your data sources and methodology.

The marketing methodology has to be fit to your ideal customer and product profile.  

There's a zillion threads on here discussing the pros/cons of them, but one of the big cons is their numbers are frequently not accurate and skew high, due to their methodology of gathering data. 

The methodology you describe does in fact work in buffalo but we don't quite do it the same way.
