I've been reading so many real estate books that teach how to be a better investor, but now I'm trying to find books that help someone be a better person by becoming mentally strong.

As strange as it sounds, $499K versus $500K is a huge mental barrier, although it is only $1000.I would offer $511,223 for the property.

I grow tired of the whole mentality in this country that if something befalls you, you immediately try to find someone convenient to transfer it to.

Your focus needs to be "What can I do today to bring more value to your business" If you have that mentality, I think you could be a good fit.That being said, you should still focus on your career as well as exit strategy (smart that you're already doing this), and you could always intern for other people/companies down the road too!

I wish I had your mentality in my 20's!
