This past month I just celebrated the two-year anniversary of starting my first substantial business that is my sole means of income.  

The one thing that I will say having managed properties in other countries (China and Russia) is that you need to have a firm grip on the culture and the culture surrounding rental properties, land ownership, law enforcement, court systems, etc. 

Yes, there are a couple of bad parts, but there are also GREAT Areas, MUCH more house for the money, multis are available, your renters have bus routes,  and there's phenomenal culture.  

So my curiousty led me to building wealth > Entrepreneurship > Real Estate > Bigger Pockets.Loving the vibe/culture here on BiggerPockets.

Whether it is a good idea to directly approach a lawyer in open court like that depends entirely on local culture.

As most NYers agree - it's one of (if not the) best places on earth (certainly in the US) because we have incredible diversity, openness, creativity, access, architecture, history, culture, opportunity, transportation etc..
