Compared to where I invest now, There's was never a lot of violent crime in Pottstown, just a lot of lower income folks.

So I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility to see premiums continue to go up in those areas that are prone to violent storms such as hurricanes.  

It's Oakland, just assume everyone is a violent criminal.

When I was kid, downtown was dead, and it was Oakland’s super-violent area.

The problem is the curriculum never taught what money is, the history, practical application, and how the flow of money (currency) & regulation of the financial system can be used to manipulate the value of assets causing more violent boom/bust cycles than if it was left to a more lassez faire type market.

Our last home was in an area like that and we did great with zero issues.But if you see boarded up houses, a high crime rate (both property and violent) and retailers going under then that is a clear sign to stay away.

Just 165 violent crimes were reported per 100,000 people last year, more than 200 fewer per 100,000 than in the rest of the country.

They mostly work with victims of violent crime but can help anyone. 

I am particularly looking into the Park Forrest/Chicago Heights areas which I do not believe is very violent. 

The guy has a potentially violent, or at least threatening,  history.
