You buy a fine wine and it cost you.   

But who could do 250.00 a month I could afford the 250.00 a month I mean that was just a nice meal out in the Napa Valley with a nice bottle of wine LOL>. but i let that scare me.well within 5 years rents would have been at least 1000 a month positive and the home today without touching it would sell for 2.5 million or more  Lots re worth 2 mil.

(that particular owner was a bit crazy, so I'd even take that with a grain of salt)Most likely people will steal little stuff, like a wine opener, or a towel or whatever.

(OR) Negotiate with him for a months worth of food...just ask him what he spends on food every month and offer that plus a bottle of wine for his troubles...b/c in reality staying in a motel might be more hassle than staying in the unit.Free food and the free rent you're already giving him--my guess he will (Bite Into) that offer (and it might be less than a motel).Good Luck!

About 6-7 months are slow.We had some thoughts about getting “creative” and offering weekend retreats for couples where we lower the price and perhaps add some additional “perks” (Wine and ingredients  for dinner, something like that) perhaps an Hot Tub during the winter could make it more desirable?
