Just talked with our local Multi-Family Housing council hotline in Portland, Oregon and he said the courts here support prorating carpet over 7 years.But, he says if there is pet damage you are entitled to have the carpet replaced 100%, no prorating.

You need advice on that.Do you have some kind of housing council with a hotline.

I know the zoning has rules and the lot seems to support the dividing guidelines but regardless, my understanding is that a council must vote on it.

Now they have private meetings with Borough council and codes department trying to convince them they need to target landlords and now restrict certain types of people renting in the town.
