I am still doing the same work but set up the LT and LLC to provide improved asset protection but obviously want to structure my business so that I have both asset protection while maximizing tax benefits that i can.To be fair to my CPA he didn’t say this would be an issue, he is in the process of doing research to verify the impact of the organizational structure changes and I was looking to educate myself in parallel obviously hoping my research and my CPA’s landed in the same place.

The bankers I know love collecting interest payments, regardless of the rate, not calling performing notes.Here's why...Think about the amount of manpower it would take for a lender to cross-reference tax records against their entire loan portfolio to verify the original borrower is no longer on title.

All adults who wish to live there must apply and pay app fees (it makes us money, but there is a cost to run background/credit checks too, so I would at least charge something, it also means the person applying is more serious)3x rent combined verifiable income of applicants.

@Johnathon Thompson you need to build a trustworthy local team, which is NOT as easy you everyone thinks.As soon as many PMC's, agents, contractors, etc. hear an owner is OOS, they take the path of least resistance (at best) or look to scam the owner.So, an owner must ask a LOT of questions and do their due diligence and even if they find someone, apply "trust, but verify":)
