Any idea why??

I've been teetering around the idea of house hacking once I am done with college, but a big issue I have come across when speaking to a mortgage broker is the fact that I need to prove 2x of the mortgage in monthly income.

Also the idea that occupying a 'piece' or 'portion' of property allows for AP is flawed.

However, prop 13 is a gift to long holds, my interest rates are high 2s or in the 3s, and everything was financed (cashed out) between Dec 2020 and Dec 2021 (when the government tells you they are going to raise interest rates, it is generally a good idea to believe them).

It may help you get some ideas on what to add to your own thing or send them that.

Honestly, over leveraging is a really bad idea at this time (just my 2 cents). 

For this reason, I do like the idea of having a bank with many branches and the tenant just deposits at their closest branch.

I am definitely not an expert on international investing as a whole though so I agree that it is a great idea to get in touch with someone who has more experience with it! 

From that experience, I got the idea of just building a multifamily (ideally a quadruplex) from the ground up as my next home to house hack in.I've done some preliminary research and had some questions if any experts care to chime in:+ There aren't many multifamily zoned lots in metro Atlanta.
