Mass transit + Uber/Lyft/Via + CitiBike were  enough for me to  get rid of my car.  

Also, given Mass's Landlord/Tenant Laws and them not favoring landlords, would you invest in another state if you were to start over again, or do you think they are okay if you've done your homework?

More specifically - Middle income areas where Mass people live-Distressed houses, fire, mold, foundation problems, neglect, outdated, need face lift-Normal-typical-3/2, 3/3, 4/2,4/3 open to 2/1-built from 1050-current-look at compsCan you help me with this? 

Expect mass layoffs as the construction industry tanks.

The benefit to us is that we end up going to that town anyway for Sunday Mass and shopping since it's the largest town in our area.My advice to you as that you try and get other things done while you're there.

Coming from someone who owns rentals, and receiving these letters, personally I think you´ll have better success if you research and learn a little bit about the person - property vs sending out mass flyers.

Instead of me freshening up the house with neutral colors to appeal to the masses, the new buyers could pick out their own paint colors, carpet, etc and decorate to suit their own taste.So which is the better way?  

Now I give myself some credit for deducing 4 years ago that Charleston was under the radar and the mass's did not move in there because it was more west coast type pricing.. but for fix and flip and new construction its off the charts good.And in portlandia  same exact house I built and sold last year ( 27 of them ) for 350 to 375k) I have another 23 I am building this year and the banks construction loan appraisals just came in at 430 to 450 each.. now is that me being a master investor builder or just right place right time..

It has helped my company quite a bit in the beginning to manage who we are talking to, what our last conversations were, sending out mass emails, etc.

I'm not familiar with having work done in Mass, but $25k seems crazy high!
