In snowy areas, you'll find a lot of metal roofs and in high end areas, wood shingles.A lot of homes built by big development companies will not be built to support the weight of tile roofs.

A large recycle bin for glass and a large recycle bin for paper/plastic/metal are also included with that price.

Aside from the ultra rich and others with heavy positions in metals, I think the rest of us are toast.

We do have a metal roof, which is one thing to consider because there is no attic space the roof can't radiate that heat into the attic and then allow it to vent so the exterior roof temperature tends to be something like 15-25 degrees higher than a roof on a normal attic.

I use metal ones on all of my properties, but plastic are available.

The chinese drywall is so corrosive that is dissolves metals.

I've never suggested in any post/thread that metals are comparable to RE as an INVESTMENT, but have always suggested owning both if possible.
