If you have certain skill set but lack the other, are you confident enough in yourself in terms of motivation, learning capability to learn the new skills you need to become successful in the field you want to be? 

@Brooke Williamson have your PMC start eviction process on tenant to motivate them to put pressure on their caseworker.Caseworkers typically will respond to tenants before PMCs/owners.Without the threat of eviction though, the tenant may not try very hard to contact their caseworker.

My personal motivations and limitations have made me not consider turnkey, flipping and house hacking. 

Again I appreciate the advice, but I just wanted to clear up the motivation of the post.  

I would say to stay away from the "influencer" markets like The Smokies, Joshua Tree, etc.

I have been reading the forums, listening to podcasts and reading books and videos for over 6 months getting very motivated... but living in Spain I have to transfer what works diferently and what works the same than in the US or UK markets that are where most the info comes from.I would like to get in touch with other local spanish inverstors and see what strategies work best here...

Unless you have buyer-in-hand or some other mission (e.g. subsidized housing or religious-based motives), I seriously think the risks are way more substantial than most people could handle.
