The 3rd is beginning her nursing career so her stuff is solid.On a personal note, I had to put myself through college with no help from anyone but always worked hard and paid my way.

Plus all the necessary stuff, like plumbing and electrical, roof and gutters, all the things that a 100 yr old house is likely to need, unless recently handled.  

If your current floor was peel & stick, you could easily use a hair dryer to soften the adhesive of the damaged tiles, lift them up and drop in new replacement tiles.

The cost of trash removal is really a big burden on tenants, who in turn make that the landlord’s problem by keeping stuff in the halls, porches, and basements.

And then t&G (use the prefinished stuff so you don't have to deal with spray) and flooring.

I think it has to be Lakefront or look awesome with a lot of cool stuff at the house like the one @Allison Craft posted.

I will say that this year has been a bit of a disappointment overall for STR stuff.

Good stuff, although in our experience, most investors going OOS, don't do enough market research.We really push understanding the property Classes of the market, so someone doesn't put "lipstick" on a Class C or D and sell it to an OOS investor as Class A or B!
