I just can't do the stairs anymore.Financially, I know we'd benefit from moving to a smaller house with less acreage, but since I married a man 8 yrs my junior who loves raising livestock, and since I love where we live, we've decided to supplement our social security disability with REI instead so we can earn the money needed to upgrade/remodel our house to make it more mobility friendly for the future.But you all gave me a great idea to think about - carve out a niche to target the Baby Boomer market in our area.

Most of the people seems to be OK all the way until they decide to get a gun and start shooting people at the movie theaters.I had an applicant like that who was on disability (age 33) with a great credit.

The first thing I'd suggest is making sure you're aiming for the right target- it's a big number but make sure you're accounting for large expenses like college, disability, etc.Otherwise, I'd say you need to pick between what you enjoy (wheeling and dealing it sounds like) or early retirement.

I have an applicant for a a property of mine whom submitted information to a tenant screening service I use that his monthly income from Disability is $1500.00 monthly.
