A simple amendment to the contract can be made and signed by all parties once you figure out the state of the home.

You can likely fax them purchase/sale documents showing the exclusion and hopefully not have to amend your 2014 return. 

Beyond that work with Flood Insurance maps themselves can reduce premiums with a Letter of Map Amendment.
