Hello, Starting to research about STR options/opportunities in Mexico (as a Canadian living in Canada).

I attended a REI conference back in October 2024 prior to knowing anything about Bigger Pockets or investing in general, and it gave me the motivation to seek out information and shoot for my first couple of deals in 2025.

I agree with most—if you're local and familiar with the property's history, self-managing could be a great option!

I have the money to buy now but I would rather do creative financing and use as little money as possible out of my own pocket. looking to start with BRRR method but maybe should start with a wholesale first to fund that?

There are a lot of positive ROI options in that bucket.To answer your question anything on the beach will rent well. 

I’m hoping it will get me a better interest rate and payment so my rents can cover the mortgage.I will be reaching out to you guys to see what my best options are.Pretty cool to have this community to help figure out problems  It depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

I am looking into my STR options but from what I have learned this is a overflowing market in the area and the vacancy's are increasing so I may look into mid term and long term only.
