They aren't structures that are built to last; all of the systems like electrical, plumbing, etc are just cheap and they are vulnerable to cold snaps.       

I'm not going to condemn someone because as most in this world know (common sense) that the elderly are vulnerable and usually not in the best positions to make the best decisions.How do I know?

If you haven't done a few transactions in the last few years, you could put yourself in a vulnerable position.

This may not lead to leaks, but may make the roof more vulnerable to storms that cause leaks.
