After doing rehab, PM and new construction for 12 years or so, here are they people I find more valuable than any flavor of lawyer - plumber, electrician, HVAC, roofer, surveyor, carpenter, realtor, painter, foundation guy, building supply guy, and tree guy,  Don't get me wrong, I value my RE closing lawyer but he hardly cracks the top 10 people on my contact list.
