Skip the staging and create a better product to begin with!

While we're in the learning stage, I figured I could still help the community by providing my services as an Insurance Agent in California. 

One idea for someone at your stage in life may also be to boost your human capital some by advancing in your career and saving for that first home (and a 2-4 unit is an ideal target).  

I have not yet done any rehabs myself but I have heard from a couple different sources close to the business that legitimate contractors should have the cash flow to be able to do each stage of work and then get paid for it after.

I would pay them part of mortgage (still discussing amount), keep some of the rent to pay back my initial investment with interest for fixing up the place (still discussing amount), and......I don't know.It's still in the planing stage, but they're very interested.

I don't know at what stage of the process you and your brother are at in this process.Here are some thing to consider, when you say 50/50 is that your financial split? 

Anything other than dropping the price that you did to spark more interest perhaps staging and re-posting photos?  

Hi biggerpockets family, I'm in the final stage of acquiring a house in Huntington Beach.
