Did the high iron levels cause the filter not to work or die more quickly, or was it not filtering the iron out when it was supposed to be?

The funds supposedly earmarked for these payments were instead usedto cover its debt repayments.

I suppose even a 1/4” layer of sound dampening membrane is better than nothing, but why on earth would replacement of the entire subfloor be required?

You can just approach the seller (or their agent) as a private party and make an offer, either 3% lower or whatever you think will make the deal work for both parties.....Now if you want to acquire some RE knowledge, I suppose it couldn't hurt to have a license....and it will give you a small amount of credibility (not much, it is not hard to get a license)I think you can gain the knowledge just as easily by just starting to buy and sell properties...... 

Fortunately she really knows and remembers, but the last time I had to go to straighten it out, she said "I told (whatever the account records person is) that you were supposed to have a $200 credit on your account.
