I am in the process of adding better insulation in the attic of my 2 flat because I realized it was pretty poorly insulated causing the heat from the top unit to melt the snow on the roof.

Its a fact that landlords got killed because of leverage in the melt down ,, In addition you have a whole new crop of investors that basically started 8 to 10 years ago at all time low's in values and have only been working on the rebound..

As a new construction builder in the Asheville area I have to say that market is melting hot.

Get data on how many calories you're eating as well as the macros, micros, etc... 

I hauled wood for the stove, hauled snow to melt fir water, dug outhouses every few years, changed the propane tanks as needed so we could have lights.

The big melt down is going to be parts of SWF where Supply far out strips demand.. there are literally thousands of vacant lots that can be bought at anytime.. so no shortage there and its always been in a few of those locations like Lehigh Acres a boom bust cycle its heading to maybe not a bust right now but values are dropping for sure.

My brother-in-law, a fire marshal, told me that even if the smoke detector is a melted lump of plastic and metal, they can easily determine if it was operational at the time of fire. 

And what I personally experienced in the late 80s when it starts melting down the GPs make very poor choices and end up in real trouble trying to save deals that basically are already lost.

Of course there are note funds as well.. but those you lose control your trusting someone else there are threads going around on BP about a company AHP which it seems is melting down so you lose all control.
