Having gone to a top 10 MBA program, it is hammered into your skull that you invest as much as possible and borrow at any rate lower than your invested returns, via using your investments as collateral.

I might be A LOT wealthier if I had a mentor whispering in my ear at that time and didn't WASTE $50,000 ($100,000 in todays money) on an MBA from Boston University instead of buying up some of those condos etc.  

When I moved away to get my MBA (no I didn't study real-estate), I decided to rent my house, rather than selling it.
