@Omar Khosht Twin Cities is pushing 4 million people, and your going to find about as many opinions as to where the "best" place to live/ rent are.   

You could potentially house-hack and get a very good deal, allowing you to live rent free. 

Also if you are living in the property it most likely is not cash flowing (Granted you may be able to live rent free).Buying a multi with no reserves is the most likely reason why people are noting to go with the single.

I’ve had some experience in this genre as I had a property I did a live, rent then flip.

It builds massive wealth and depending on the property even if 1 unit is a vacant non-paying tenant you can still break even and live rent free.Tampa is quickly becoming a buyer’s market as buyers are getting more leverage because sellers are getting nervus quickly.

When I read the Senate bill it doesn’t seem to allow a tenant to live rent free without penalty, is anyone else dealing with this?

I was able to live rent free and have my roommate pay off my mortgage and bills while in college.

Our market is already flooded with OOS investors and transplants. 

So I live rent free with a $700  net income.
