I would go to local real estate clubs or events and network as much as I could and start hanging out with successful people.Just so you'll understand a little about me is that I have about 30 years of experience in construction management and real estate. 

@Kip Samuels I have been to meetups where there is no presenter just people hanging out and talking about real estate.

Why are you trying to hang onto the house?

People are hanging out in a coffee shop or playing games or woodworking in the middle of the afternoon.

The other nice thing about glue strip is that it is easier to replace a damaged piece.Having said that I think that click/lock is generally less trouble to install (once you get the hang of it) and its more seamless.

I went for the lowest hanging fruit to gather as much information as possible.

Often it is those tradesmen renting do nothing to help, do do not pay rent on time but asking for discount that are hanging around.

Those are the factors that keep you wanting to hang onto it. 

A lot of my numbers are either really general guidelines, but once I get the hang of navigating the calculators better I plan to actually speak to some property managers etc.
